As if it wasn’t catastrophic enough that Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling awarded a lucrative ferry contract to a company that had no ferries, and as a result managed to get his department sued by Eurotunnel, the UK government are now facing a fresh legal challenge by P&O Ferries.
The Conservative government just seem to be stumbling from one report of misspending to another during their poorly planned Brexit arrangements with no obvious end in sight.
P&O have said in their claims that the £33m out of court settlement awarded to Eurotunnel amounts to unfair advantage given to a competitor.

Update (1st May 2019): It has been revealed today that the contracts handed out by Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling in preparation for Brexit chaos will now lead to the companies being awarded significant payouts as a result of the contract cancellations.
Estimates from the National Audit Office have put the amount at around £56.6m that will need to be paid out to ferry companies, including Seaborne Freight, the company that didn’t even own any ferries.
Chris Grayling has come under fire on twitter under the hashtag #FailingGrayling with many commentators asking whether he should now be sacked following this most recent revelation.
The SNP’s Joanna Cherry has suggested that further questions will need to be answered by the Transport Secretary in response to a report written by Sky News Political Correspondent, Lewis Goodall…
