There is outrage across twitter today as people share videos of themselves shredding their Labour Party membership cards and declare en masse that they will never vote for the Labour Party again over its stance on Brexit.
Jeremy Corbyn had the opportunity to win back some support by appeasing its membership and voters by taking a stand against the Tory driven Brexit disaster, but instead declared during NEC that it will stand by and let the Brexit process run its course.
It seems that Corbyn is trying to be all things to all people, by trying to appeal to the Brexiteers and those who would prefer to remain in the EU. In the process of this they have simply lost all credibility and Corbyn himself has let his mask slip as he appears more than happy for Brexit to take place, regardless of the consequences, not just for the country, but also for his party. And that could be the nail in Labour’s coffin.
Brexit has long since been seen as driven by a right wing, anti-immigrant contingency, with the likes of UKIP embracing a style of British Nationalism that appeals to a certain sector of society that wants “Britain for the British” and would be more than happy to see non-Brits deported in their thousands.
For Jeremy Corbyn to align himself with this British Nationalism by showing his support for Brexit, he is not only isolating himself from the core left wing support of the Labour Party, but is also causing some irreparable damage to the party itself.
The only question that remains is where and when the Labour Party funeral will be held… and who the hell will even turn up.

Some people voted for Brexit not because they’re racist but because they don’t want the UK to be swallowed up into a political union with Europe, among whom are probably many of the Labour supporting leave voters…
