As we rapidly approach the deadline for the UK exiting from the European Union and with multiple court cases behind us, what are the next steps and what is the likely outcome?
Recently, Boris Johnson’s right hand man, Dominic Cummings declared that the rest of the Brexit campaign would be fought in the courts and he may very well be right. This isn’t a straight forward situation, although we have already had the highest court in the land declare the Boris proroguing Parliament was illegal, forcing MPs back into the House of Commons.
There are pending cases on the question of whether Boris Johnson can force a No Deal Brexit, although a recent case suggested it would be illegal and there has been some sort of movement from the Johnson camp “promising” that he would adhere to that.
There are interesting times ahead and we really, really hope we don’t have to get Noel Edmonds involved.
